I wouldn't buy any of that stuff at those prices. $20 for incomplete Samba maracas and $50 for a Nomad with a cracked screen and burn-in? Way too much. If you are considering spending that much on janky items, you might as well go to Ebay and pay a little more to get 'em in better condition.

Sword Of Mana - $10 at TRU
DDR Extreme music sampler - free from TRU
Fatal Fury "Terry" promo hat - free from Gamestop

Also found a NIB Casio CZ-101 synthesizer for $40 at the local Salvation Army. Not gaming related but I wanted one for the longest time and it was a great price.

Yeah, really. I would have bought more but I got the last one. Noticed there were a bunch of other games on clearance at TRU when I was there. Most of the good ones were gone but they did have allot of Fatal Frame 2's left for $12.50.

Picked up my bro's christmas gift at EBGames (used Time Crisis II. He love's those shooters and I've got some extra guncon2s )

I asked if they had any promo stuff to the NICE employee (there are a couple mean ones) and he pulled out a box of demo discs. I got:
    PS2 Mercenaries demo disc-sealed
    PS2 Burnout 3 demo disc-sealed
    ATV Offroad Fury 3 soundtack-sealed
    Soundtrack from ESPN2k5-sealed
Music cd from DDR Ultramix 2- sealed (but I plan on opening this one )
PC Full Spectrum Warrior demo disc-seal still on it

    yay for free stuff!

eh.... I found this last night, but I got a free Ratchet and Clank: UYA demo disc.

Is this that game that corrupts the memory card? I'm scared to try it out.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?

Well, I stayed up doing too much after I got home late last night from work and I slept through my alarm thus missing the rummage sale and swap meet I wanted to go through. Lesson learned for next week. I did get up anyhow and hit some other places:

    Pawn 1

    PS2 - Shadow Hearts (complete) 15.00

    Pawn 2

    Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure (complete) - 5
    Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure 2 (complete) - 5
    Dreamcast - Hidden & Dangerous (complete) - 5
    Dreamcast - Draconus (complete) - 5

    Gamezone

    PS2 - GTA: San Andreas (new) - 28

Finally used up my trade credit...been wanting to play the new gta and didn't feel like waiting for the xbox version.

got a couple of boxed golf NES games for $2.50 each

    a ps1 multitap for $1

a nintendo fusion tour cd for $1

another video game related cd i forget for $1

and a hotel n64 controller. this cant be too common as ive never seen one, and its licensed from 1997. worthless because it only works there, but cool nonetheless. probably worth about $30 less than i paid for it...($30)... but i like it!

Thus, the "corrupt your card" rumors start.

The only demo disk to corrupt your memory card is the Holiday 2004 Demo Disk WITH Viewtiful Joe on it, and actually, it's only playing the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo that hurts your card.

Oh, did you know that you can take your memory cards out and still play games?

running a search people have mentioned the hotel n64 systems in the past. if you care to dump the money on this nonworking controller, the hotel manager was very cool about selling one..he said they have several in the back for repalcements...still pretty pricey to look at, but thats what half of my stuff is anyways...

The wife and I went Christmas shopping and I was able to hit a few pawns on the way. I got:

    Star Wars Battlefront PS2 $25
    MST3K Volume 1 $15

    And this controller for $5

It looks like Namco's Jogcon. The packaging is in Japanese and it has the Gran Turismo logo on the wheel. In fact it says GT 2000. I usually have no interest in cotrollers but this one was cool. I pretty much had to get it.

Had some luck today. First time in a while.

Got what looks like a NIB Pikachu N64 for $20. This one is a bit different the others I've seen though. It doesn't have the pack in game and according to the box, isn't supposed to. Is this any more rare than the TRU one that does have the game? Regardless, I don't think this was ever used and is 100% complete!

    Boxed SNES
    Super Strike Eagle
    Biometal
    Ultraman
    Alien 3

    Boxed Megadrive
    The Incredible Hulk

    Boxed Genesis
    Super Monaco GP 2
    Bimini Run
    Dick Tracey
    Rambo 3
    Talespin
    Space Harrier 2
    Phelios
    Alien 3
    Predator 2
    Outrun 2019

Total for all the games was a hair over $50. They are all ex-rentals though, so not quite as nice as I'd like. Still, not a bad haul!

Yourself! Fitness for Xbox for $5 at Newberry Comics.
That was a cool and cheap find, should be pretty rare down the road a few years.
