Well, I was just wondering which of the Japanese DS Launch games will NEVER EVER come out in the US/UK?
Im guessing the surgery game and maybe a few others..
Thanks in advance,
Joe.

I hope the Princess Peach game gets released here.
I think I just emasculated myself. :/

did the surgery game launch with the DS in japan?i have no clue what the name of it is and i dont remember anything that sounded like that from the list i saw.does anyone know the name of it becouse i really would like to try my hand at that!!!!
Kenshui Tendo Dokuta from Spike (the doctor sim), though Caduceus is another doctor sim fom Atlus that is cuurently sceduled to come out in the US
Mah-Jong Tournament from Koei. The title should explain why we won't see it
Prince of Tennis 2005: Crystal Drive from Konami though I did see it listed as a Q1 2005 release somewhere. None of the console PoT games came out here, so it's very questionable
Tounou Ni Aseka Game Series Vol. 1: Cool 104 Joker & Setline from Aruze. It's video poker and a strategy puzzle game on one cart. The only way I can see this happening here is if the puzzle game is released seperately and the video poker is placed with other casino games.
Everything else released in Japan at launch is scheduled for a Q1 2005 release.

All the good games...
*sigh*
The fact that Feel the Magic ("I Would Die For You" in Japan) was a freaking US launch title suggests that we could see damn near anything here. Heh.
Thanks for the info mikeetler. Appreciate it.
Is Zoo Keeper scheduled for a US relelase?
Joe.

Zoo Keeper was supposed to ship the end of this month but all sources point to a mid January release now.
As for the appeal, it's Bejeweled with animals instead of crystals. I know I'm picking it up when it ships since my older two kids and myself play a ton of Bejeweled on the PC and my PDA.

god damn it, that is one of the most addictive games i've played in ages. Now i'm NEVER going to get my Modernism essay done for tommorow. And hence will fail university. It's all your fault!Originally Posted by le geek

I really want that game
Currently collecting Amiga games
The new Ganbare Goemon game.... :sighs: Oh well, I'll still import it. It's just that the dialogue loses so much of its humor when you can't read it!! Arrrgh.
"First, we have aspirin. A common cure for things that aspirin cures. Leads to.....rabies."
See, this is what I DON'T want to see on the DS. Yeah, sure bejwelled is fun on your PC or PDA, but keep them there! The DS needs NEW games and not just a touch screen version of shareware crap.Originally Posted by mikeetler
On a seperate note. I want that surgeon game! You can use the stylus to write condolence letter's to your patiant's family after you kill them on the table!
They HAVE to bring that game over here. It looks so cool!Originally Posted by Crush Crawfish
Actually it plays a lot better than Bejeweled, and the DS needs to branch out beyond the core gamers...Originally Posted by Jive3D

P.S. the surgeon game looks cool too...
There should be room for both; if it brings in more gamers, bring it out! :DOriginally Posted by Jive3D
Without these early "shareware crap" games, we'd never GET the fun stuff like Quarth, after all. You can point to Qix derivatives, but game companies tend to build off each others' ideas - and success, most importantly. If this game is a success, look forward to lots of cookie-cutter games that don't necessarily make lots of money - and a few real gems (animals? ooh) hidden in there as well.
I totally disagree. A system can not survive on strictly new concepts and NEEDS titles that people are familliar with as well. I'm all for games like Feel the Magic, Yoshi Touch & Go and other innovative titles, but a game like Zoo Keeper that takes an existing game concept and ports it over nicely is more then welcomed in my opinion. It's definitely better then some of the crap we'll see on the system (Spiderman 2 being the leading candidate at the moment for DS crap of the year).Originally Posted by Jive3D
