I have myself ran 2 successful ones. Yes, they were both in high school, but they still worked. Actually, that might be even more high power to the mighty petition, since they were signed by STUDENTS.
Paper petitions work well in the "Real world" as well. Did you not hear of the christmas display that a NorCal family had to take down due to a neighbourhood petition?
If this were paper, i'd sign right away.
