LI: NY get together in january? Intrest check?

I know I know the title sucks. I am just checking if anyone is up for one. I want to have on in january, just wanna see who would be willing to come and what dates are do-able. It being the first get together of mine I want many people to come.
It is about 2 hours (ish) from Joes. You can take the ferry from Providence without any trouble. I have a guest room, if anyone can't do the drive home.

My sales pitch- I have beer for you guys!
So who's intrested in coming? If you are please post here and tell me which of the following dates are do-able for you!

Well I live in a VERY small town. So let's say Port Jefferson. I am about 5 minutes away. Everything in LI is liek 45 minutes away at most anyway.

I don't know if any of those dates are can't-make-its for me, so the date doesn't matter to me.

As for whether or not I'd attend - I'm unsure. I'm in Northern NJ, so it's doable, and I'm pretty much always up for this sort of thing. BUT, driving to LI is going to be a huge obstacle. I'll definitely consider it, though. And if I determine ti's worth the 3 hours each way, plus the donation of some vital organ to the traffic gods along the way, I'll be there.

Jon is about 45 minutes-1 hr. I dont know how fast he drives.
Jon is definatly not far from me at all.
I also know Nick (drexel) said he would almost definatly be coming, so I am gunna drop him a PM in a little bit, if he doesn't find the thread first.

Date wise, the 15th would be the best for me because it's a 3-day weekend. Would give me some extra time to recover from that drive.

I assume an adult will be providing the beverages. Would hate to drive all the way up there just to get locked up. BTW I'm past due for a non-drinking game night. THAT would be truly retro.

Ok guys. 15th isn't happening. I just told my parents that is looking like the date and they told me we have a wedding to go to.

How does the 22nd sound to everyone? I really want Kid Ice to make it out and that's why I wanted the 15th so hopefully he can still make it!
