    Hmm .. that winning bidder looks familiar. Isn't that the same person that won the Vic 20 Ultima Mt Drash auction for some similarly obscene amount of money?

    I'm pretty sure our own Mayhem bought the other Ultima for around the same price range.

    I know Mayhem bid for the Mt Drash, but someone else won it - I thought it was actually rather more than this one too. More like $3K - $4K ...

    I seem to remember, I think, that Mayhem did manage to get a copy through a deal with someone else who contacted him after the ebay auction ended.

    If it was indeed the same person who bought the Mt Drash and this one, that is one majorly Ultima-obsessed person!!

    I've never really liked the gameplay of the earliest Ultimas; but I'd pay serious money for a mouse-enabled Overworld Zero on Apple II, though :>
