As you probably don't know, I'm something of a burgeoning cosplayer. As you porbably do know, a lot of costumes just shouldn't be worn by some people (case in point: ManFaye). I happen to be one of those people, so I prefer to make things that show a lot of costume and very little of the person in it. I also like to do things that are rarely if ever cosplayed, in order to combat If-I-See-One-More-Damn-Yuna Syndrome. The last one I did was FF6's Gogo, and a white mage before that.
After competing in and subsequently losing a convention's contest with my Gogo getup, I decided to do something so intricate, so ludicrously time-consuming that only an idiot would even attempt it. I chose Xenogears. Not a character from Xenogears - the actual Xenogears mecha itself.
Unsurprisingly, this required a lot of good reference pictures. I was lucky enough to find a website that had a repository of the entirety of Xenogears Perfect Works, the game's artbook, where I found a few lovely, detailed drawings. I printed these out and used them religeously.
However, while I was at school, a lot of redecorating has gone on at my home, and these pictures seem tohave vanished into the back room's ravenous maw o' dissapearance. A thorough Google search turned up many lovely pages dedicated to the story of Xenogears, and one, the Xenogears Image Archive, with all the images I could possibly need. The latter was, of course, broken. Thus, I turn to you. Does anyone here know of any Perfect Works repositories that escaped my scouring or perhaps have a copy and a scanner with which they could upload the pertinent pages?
