PS Toyota Netz Racing ?

Does anytone have any idea what this one is?
Is this some kind of preview demo given by Toyota or something?
Not sure what "Netz" bit is referring to though...

It was a disc given to people in Japan who test drove a Toyota, featuring Toyota cars. I have it, but haven't gotten around to playing it to give you more info.

netz, i believe, was a dealership in japan and the game is actually a pretty decent racer that copies gran turismo's visual style quite a bit...except you get up to 15 cars on a track, and the replays aren't that great-looking (nice angles, though). atlus used the engine from another of its ps racers, advan racing for what's here, so if you have that one, expect to see some similarities.

the game has a couple of tracks based on real japanese raceways and is a few hours long (if you decide to play through the whole thing), but the crazy thing is that there's no memory card feature at all! you can break all sorts of track records, but you'll need a camera to show off your best times...
i think you get commercials for the cars in the game as well, but i haven't played it in a while, and i have a few other racers with ads and live footage in them, so i'll have to get back to you... or, wait...click on the banner below (d'oh!), and check out the column i did waaaay back when on racing games
