I just don't see why he would include his background (besides the fact that the buyer would be helping a retired public servant).

I'm calling B.S on this one. IF he was a fire fighter and a teacher for the disturbed his first line wouldn't be "I don't spell well"

Just somebody trying to make a dollar with a sob story

There was one seller who wanted everyone to know he was a doctor.

At first I was like (when reading the title of the thread) I LOVE IT when there is alot of information about an item I am buying on ebay. BUT, after reading the auction, the guy DEFINATELY didn't need to add all that SHIT in the auction description. No one gives a shit about all that stuff he's saying.

Yep, this auction was like Deja vu to me. Some people have truly made auction listings not only a way to sell their wares but also a personal story to boot. Personally I could do without the personal information in the listings, but if it the item is highly sought after by myself what do I care?

Lol, I thought this was about it being Man-felt (see auction title).

    Then I read the description...

I remember the seller who wanted everyone to know he was a doctor. He would get flamed on the DP boards. He got kicked off a bunch of times and kept comming back with a different screen name to argue his stupid points. That was very entertaining for a while. I don't remember his eBay seller name or the last DP name he had but it was entertaining while it lasted!
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!

I think I remember the same guy you all are talking about. Didn't this guy have a LONG want list for sealed SNES games recently??
He had to get kicked off for more than just making stupid points?
