    Default Sid Meier's Pirates! $29.90

I had been waiting for the price to come down a bit on this anticipated PC title - this sale is a 48 hour one though, act fast!

Eh... With all the A-list titles released over the holiday season, I anticipate that this will be down to $15 USD or less in six months.

I agree! In fact, if you wait a year or two you can probably get it on eBay for a buck or two.

This thread is for people who have been waiting for a price drop - not a whole new era of games.

Tell me about it! Just six months ago I was all excited about my brand new GBA SP. Now everything is about the DS and PSP.

This is why I play classic games. Ten years, twenty... what's the difference!

Great find...this game is awesome...I'm so addicted that it's kept me from playing Half Life 2! A neat little bonus is that you can mod your flags and sails to have whatever you want on them...it's cool to see your ships sailing around with your own flags on them.

Spend the extra money and get the DVD version if you have a DVD drive. But in any case, GET THIS GAME NOW!

Ahh, finally down to $20 CDN (that's about $17 USD) this week at Future Shop. Think I'll be picking this one up, even though it will take me a while to get around to playing it (it always does); it actually seems to be pretty hard to find lately.

(By the by, anyone here try Pirates of the Carribean, sometimes thought of as Sea Dogs 2? Word is that with some fan-made patches, the PC version is bug-free and thoroughly enjoyable! Pity the game has largely disappeared.)

I have Pirates of the Carib. Yeah, the game WAS buggy, which is why it's in storage. I'll have to look for the fan made patches.
