    Default FLASH CARTS

I asked about this a while ago. I am starting this again to find out about the best Flash Carts for Gameboy Advance so please do not lock! I need the most current info and suggestions. I want to put all of my GBA games onto one cart. I have 31 games. I've heard the best cart for my needs would be the EZ flash II 256 meg cart. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks to all.

First of all there is no way you can fit 31 games on a cart, 256 can hold around (on average)4 games!

The 256 is in MBits where as roms are in Mb (megabytes )

either way dont do what i did, i got a XG-Turbo and it cant run Pogoshell :/

You wouldn't be able to squeeze more than 3-4 games on a 256 meg cart, they're measured in bits as opposed to bytes. Gigabit carts have apparently started to come out of the woodwork but they're prohibitively expensive for what they are, you might be able to get 30-31 roms on it. Not all GBA games are created equal, some are 8 megabytes(64mbits), some are a whopping 32(256mbits).

binarygame.com has a device that accepts SD Flash cards up to a gigabyte capacity from which files load onto a 128 megabit buffer, you'd be able to stick nearly everything that would come into your possession on that. They also have a listing for the gigcart.

Caveat emptor with either item and buying from said link as I only have hands on experience with an ancient Bung 64 mbit kit.

The EZ Flash 2 256 suggestion ultimately was a sound one in my opinion because the price point outweighs the inconvenience of loading and reflashing different games from time to time.

I have a 512MB EZ Flash II PS. Great cart, but keep in mind you cannot run Pogoshell on this either...at least not yet. Not a big issue for me however, since I really could care less about it.....EZ Loader is just fine.
