    Default Video game price/rarity guides?

Is there anything (soft cover) that i can bring around with me to goodwill/game shops, and check how rare/how much things are worth before i buy them? I'm asking this because at goodwill today, they had a whole bunch of complete Genesis, and NES games for $2.99 a piece, but i didn't know how much any of them were worth, so got none, and instead got a loose Super Mario World for the SNES.

If so, could you give me the name of it, the price of it, and where it can be found.

    Thanks.

must resist urge to post sarcasticly...

seriously scroll up, click on the digital press logo, consult left hand menu for collectors guide, browse, ponder, order...

ideally you'll want both guides covering both the classic and near modern systems. they're softcover and roughly the size of a small town phonebook. although i wouldnt suggest using the price guide in front of merchants, we dont want em getting wise to our values.

Nope, there are no others. None that count, anyway

If the price is wrong you can always use and print out the online guide:
http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/search.cmf though the book is really much more useful on the road.

no, no, the price is right when it sounds like its the size of a phone book, but in the perfect world i really would just buy a little novel sized $10 plain black and white price guide, but apparently something like that doesn't exist.

If you're looking for something extremely small and portable, I can whole heartedly recommend 'Video Game Collector'. It does not contain rarity information, but it does list prices, both loose and complete, and covers pretty much every system. I find it invaluable as a convenient light walking around price guide. Mr. Santulli is listed as the Price Guide Group Editor.
The Digital Press Collector's Guides are far more informative and well worth the price. But fold it in half and cram it in your back pocket to free up both hands while rummaging thru flea markets? I don't think so!

Keep in mind that you will save the difference between $10 and $25 your first time shopping with your guide at your side!
