Went to funcoland today to pick up suikoden 4 (it actually comes out tommorow...DO'H!!!) It wasn't a total loss, though as they got in a shipment of genesis games, about 300 or so. They're one of the few stores in the nation that still sells the classic stuff regularly, so just about everything gets shipped there. Anyways I got these, which were all 50% off:

    Genesis (All loose)
    Insector X- $1
    Mercs- $2.50
    Strider- $2.50
    Red Zone- $1
    Wolf Child- $2
    Final Zone- $1

Made my day, and I gotta go back tommorow for suikoden.

    Default More finds

I went back to Toys R Us today (well, yesterday now) and picked up Tennis 2K2 for the Dreamcast on clearance for $1.90. I also picked up Spyro: Year Of The Dragon (the third installment of the Spyro series for the Playstation One) for $4.50 after the green tag discount. I went to my local video game store (that has everything from Atari 2600 games to modern systems/games/accessories) and picked up F-Zero (no box but it did have the original instructions) for the SNES for $6.95 and NBA Jam (also no box but has the original instructions) for the Sega Genesis for $2.95. I'm quickly running out of places to put my games!

I got the Commodore 64 DTV joystick from KB Toys today for $10. I doubt I'm going to try to mod it. I might open it up to make the joystick more comfortable.

Yesterday, I bought the following CDs from a pawn shop for $2 each.

    Jay-Z - The Dynasty
    Nelly - Nellyville

More fodder for the Xbox's custom soundtrack...
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

Eh, this is it for me for the week... possibly the MONTH.

    Megaman & Bass (GBA) - $14
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - $23
    Resident Evil 4 LE - $60

Yeah, I think I'm tapped out for the month. Which is just as well, since I haven't found any good retro games since Xmas anyway. After all, I have Starfox to worry about next month.

    Had an awesome day today:

    Gamezone

Went over first to their psx section and grabbed:

PSX - Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions (complete) - 2.99
    PSX - Reloaded (complete) - 2.99
    PSX - Medievil (complete) - 8.99
    PS2 - Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance Guide - 1.99

Then I looked at their DC section, and for some reason, he MAJORLY dropped the prices...I'm talking like Sonic Adventure 2 going from 37.99 to 7.99. So I raided it like a bloodthirsty wolf and grabbed:

    DC - Sonic Shuffle (complete) - 2.99
DC - Resident Evil: Code Veronica (complete) - 3.99
    DC - Speed Devils (complete) - 3.99
    DC - Virtua Fighter 3tB (complete) - 3.99
DC - Marvel Vs Capcom (complete) - 5.99
DC - Quake III Arena (complete) - 2.99
DC - Ready To Rumble Boxing (complete) - 2.99

Great games all nice bright and shiny mint too ;D.

Then I headed to a pawn shop and grabbed:

    PS2 - Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (complete) - 9.99

yeah, I can't remember it though. They suck hard though. They get in lots of imports and cool stuff but are VASTLY expensive. But MY gamezone is quite different from the other stores out there. It's run a lot better, gets in a lot of rare/hard to find stuff, is priced a lot better, ect. The way the owner Tim explained it to me is that they rent out the name from them somehow. I've been to the other two stores near Mesa and they SUCK. I was even in there the other day and one of the guy's was doing a store to store call to the old lady I've seen working at the other two stores and she hung up on them. Lol.

    Right on

If he's ever down on this side of town tell him it's all about the store at 35th Ave & Peoria. The rest aren't even worth his time.
