    Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System)
Rambo: First Blood Part II [Blue label] (Master System)
    Smurfs 2 (Master System)

Those alone will each fetch over $200 complete, and most of them much more, like in the $400-$600 range.
I never knew there were two Rambos.

Everytime I get my own grail, I seem to hit it.

I have not set any new ones yet, but once I do, I will get it (I normally find out about the game, find out it sucks to find, and then go on a mission to track it down).

    Steep Slope Slider Arcade
This thing sucked to find. I honestly ran across it on eBay once about 2 or 3 years ago for $30, and have not seen it up since.

    Mortal Kombat 3 (SMS)
I remember growing up seeing ads for Mortal Kombat 3, and one of the systems was the Game Gear. Since there was no US release, it never crossed my mind about an international release, and I found out that TecToy released a SMS version. After a long time of searching, I finally snagged a copy

    Mortal Kombat 3 (Game Gear)
I found out that this was a PAL only release, so I did everything I could to get a copy, and I got a sealed one. It is not sealed anymore, but it is definately a complete version.

    Jack Bros (Virtual Boy)
Yeah, any US Virtual Boy owner can attest to this one. Enough said.

It's getting pretty hard for me to make a list of holy grails though there's so many rare games I need. I guess it's

    In no order

1 NES Flintstones Surprise at Dinosaur Peak
2 INTV Spiker Super Pro Volleyball
3 32X Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV
    4 SMS Buster Douglas Boxing
5 TGCD Akumajo Dracula Chi No Rondo
    6 SNES Super Copa
7 Entex Select A Game any game
    8 Vectrex Vecaves
    9 Atari 2600 Music Machine
    10 Atari 2600 Condor Attack
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

Buster Douglas Boxing on the SMS? I almost got one for $8 complete, but it turns out the online store I bought it from had already sold it and forgot to take it down.

A few of my grails were taken care of, a copy of Mizubaku Daibouken (Liquid Kids) Saturn, and a copy of Bubble Bobble Part 2 NES are now in my possession. Also completed the NES and GB Mega Man cart and CD collection (1-6 NES, 1-5 GB, 7 SNES, R&F SFC, 8 Saturn Japanese version, US 8 PSX), alls that is left for that is the 6 Complete Works titles.

My Holy Grail List is a bit more...filled...mind, you these are all wants...

    1. The *other* Assassin's Case with the Gold Memory Card (I have the Red Card Variant)
    2. My entire PSX want list...it's all that's left of the known *everything*
    3. My entire Saturn want list (with Daytona Net-Link)...that would make a complete library.
    4. Neo Geo MVS complete library - just the carts only... not going to happen...
    5. Neo Geo Arcade Cabinet or converted MVS deck with memory card slot.
    6. The PlayStation / Lightspan Modem with KeyCard Memory Card
    7. The Game.com Modem, and any other accessory I'm missing (bag?)
    8. Game.com Video Capture Card
    9. Winning lottery ticket to pay for all of the above
    10. Profit

I assume this refers to the US version? These are among the most common SMS carts in Australia. You'd have to try hard to NOT find a copy in any pawn shop/Salvation Army/Cash Converters.

I would be happy to grab a copy and sell it to you for $200.

I think the only game I own I'd consider to be a holy grail is my Shining Force III premium disc, which I simply adore and got for a bargain. Besides that I have a few that I want I'm just waiting I have the money to freely spare/find cheaply:

    - Star Ocean Second Story (refuse to pay £60+ which is going price online, have seen it once in the wild, when I rented it years ago)
    - Harvest Moon CIB (NTSC Snes)
    - Chrono Trigger CIB (NTSC Snes, already own the Japanese/DS version)
    - Harvest Moon 64 CIB
I reject your reality and substitute it for one of my own!

Do you mean the actual game or the console with the game built-in? I have both, though didn't think they were rare.

EDIT: The PAL version is apparently more common than the NTSC.

The Pal version is worth about £2, if that.

The NTSC game is identical in everyway, the only (external) difference being a sticker/logo (can't remember which) on the back which denotes the difference and it reputedly goes for around $200. Utter madness really

Yeah, the only difference between US Sonic 1 for SMS and PAL Sonic for SMS is the barcode sticker on the back of the box of the US versions of the game.

Yes I think he meant the US version. It was the last game released in America and by far the hardest to find. Problem is (as Baloo already pointed out), the ONLY way to differentiate it from the UK release is a UPC sticker they placed over the original barcode. You see, it is essentially a UK game being sold in the US. Sega did this with two other titles in 1991... Strider and Spider-Man.

Daytona USA Netlink would be my in-hand holy grail. Ironically I picked it up a few years ago at a thrift store for $1.99 only because there were a couple of other Saturn titles there I was interested in. I already had a disc-only copy and basically picked it up for the box, not knowing it was the netlink version (with the additional black and white booklet and Netlink notation on the disc). When I got home I noticed it was the Netlink version but only several months ago did I realize its value. I don't think any other thrift store purchase will top that one for me!

Does a Holy Grail necessarily need to be a valuable game?
