    Well, here goes...

My name is Tony and I live about 25 miles north of Chicago, IL. By day I am a CPA, by night a gamer, and by late-night a girl-chasing booze hound. I am 27 years old and have been an avid gamer since birth. I have dubbed myself a video game bard as I am a collector of a wide variety of systems and game genres, but master of none. My current collection is about 600 games and growing every day. I still need to complete my IGN list.

The majority of my game time is spent playing RPGs (currently Everquest Online Adventures) and Hack 'n Slash type co-op games like Baldur's Gate (with the roommate).

As far as classics go, I am currently playing Stampede on the 2600, Popful Mail and Lunar SSS on the Sega CD, Crystalis on the NES, Daedelus Encounter on 3DO, and Shining the Holy Ark on the Saturn. I am also getting that annual itch to bust out each of the Legend of Zelda titles.

Other interests include volleyball, softball, and golf. And, as I mentioned previously boozin' it up once in a while.

I have been visiting the boards for quite some time now and I would like to say thanks to many of you who have provided such fantastic information and guidance. There are some true experts out there that have saved me a pretty penny or two. I only hope that I can contribute once in a while. I also thoroughly enjoy the E-Bay insanity conversations as they tend to put a smile on my face at work.

Happy gaming all and may each of your E-Bay auction dreams come true!

Name's Mike. I'm from Calgary, Canada, eh. I just clicked the link on the digital press site. I don't really have any favorites, although I really enjoy Koei's games. I collect anything that comes my way, although I'm trying to narrow my focus to my NES, SNES and Genesis. And I'm a shipper at SCM (Wal-Mart's Canadian distribution center).

    How-dee!

I'm Dave... I'm 23 years old, and I currently live in Houston, TX... I've been a huge fan of old-school video games for some time now, and I've been planning on entering the realm of collecting for a while... I only plan on picking up 8-bit NES stuff, though... Anyway, I just stumbled across this site, and it looks to be an incredible resource... I can't wait to get more involved! Thanks!

Hi i am Matt. I live in Hamilton, Illinois. I found out about this site looking for rare nes game information (and found more information than expected ). My favorite games would have to be Zelda, Final Fantasy, and a lot of imports. I collect for ANYTHING whatsoever. My day/night job consists of being a grocery store cashier (Definately not the profession I will have for the rest of my life!)
The most reliable place to buy videogames on the net:

Everything you see at the site, they have at the store. For more information Check the site out or ask me.

Hello everyone, my name is Nick. I found out about digital press about a month ago and signed up an account yesterday. The forums are fantastic. It is a great place to find just about everything in video games.

I'm a computer technician by day and a retro gamer by night. I'm 32 and have been playing since I was 7. My collection includes an Atari 2600, SMS, TG16, and PS/2. My true love is my Atari, which I have converted into direct a/v out (no more screen flickering.) I'm amazed that people still make home brew games for the system and I've got a few of them.

I'm glad to have found a place to exchange ideas (and high scores) with others with the same interests as me. Rock On!
I'm just trying to keep from losing my mind!

Hey all, I'm Tony. I'm 21, and I'm from St Louis, MO. I work for Working America, a lobbying group affiliated with the AFL-CIO. When I'm not playing games, I'm usally reading up on politics or out at a park.

I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember. My first system was a Colecovision (mmmm...Donkey Kong and Zaxxon...), which I played quite a lot. I didn't go off the deep end until my family got an NES when I was seven, though.

I don't really collect, cause I like to play my games to completion before I start a new one. I am going to start buying and selling soon though.

I can't remember how I started coming here. I think there was a link in an article in the Classics section of 1up.com.

Anyways, I look forward to talking with lots of great people here!

    Hey,

I live in Hunstville, AL and work as an embedded programmer. I found this site while looking for game room ideas. I split time between video and PC games. I'm currently playing Frequency on the PS2 and XIII on the PC. I usually only buy games used or when they reach the bargain bin.

Hello all, my name is John. I'm from Union City, NJ. Been visiting here for quite awhile, don't remember exactly how I got here , but figured I should finally register and join the masses. My favorite games a FPS's and sport games and some adventure. Been around since the Pong days so my collecting ranges from that all the way up to the newer systems. Also collect everything from comics, sport and non-sport cards, action figures, coins....you name it I have collected it at one time. I manage a international food import/export business which takes up alot of time but I will always find a way to sit back and enjoy a round of Pitfall or Half Life. I hope to be able to help some people here and to also learn from others. Talk to everyone soon.
