I uploaded my pics to a free site thanks to the below suggestion and I'm wondering if anyone else has this stuff, and/or knows what a good price to ask for it on EBay or here in the B&S forum may be.
See my next replay for the links.

Okay, here's some stuff I'd like to sell on EBay -- any ideas on price?
Also, does ANYONE else have these?
Here's the front and back of the Zelda guide:

Here are pics of the domestic Squaresoft version of the OST for FF8 -- best evidence that I can find is that it was only sold online for a short time, and I can't find anyone else who has it:

Before you posted the picture I thought you were referring to a book-type guide of a similar title (How to Win at Super Mario Bros. Games) If the information helps any it is pink and part of a series on NES games. I also found an auction that is selling the same book as your mario one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVWOriginally Posted by SoulBlazer

wow, zelda i need a guide to, but mario bros?
My advice: Don't sell 'em. You don't need to, and they should be worth more later.
Come on guys, you'll still have most of your games when you're fifty! RIGHT?

I just bought the SMB 3 guide at a Goodwill on Monday for 49 cents. That doesn't help with the ebay question, but yeah, I own one of those things.
I've already found a couple things in there I didn't know about, and I thought I had the game down pretty well!
That Zelda guide looks super familiar for some reason, but I dont ever recall owning it... nice stuff ya got there

Dang...I've got the Ninja Gaiden II and SMB 3 guides, but I don't have the other stuff. Are you SURE that soundtrack is domestic? I'd like to know who actually published it. Was it Digicube?
And that Zelda book is neat...never seen it...I've seen the old Mario one before tho.

That's because Nintendo Power advertised the thing to death in the early years (along with how to win at Super Mario Bros). NP was selling them cheap too, something like $4.99.Originally Posted by Mattiekrome

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, guys. I'll sell any of this stuff if anyone wants it -- just shoot me a PM with a fair price and we'll work something out.
I have the Final Fantasy Nintendo Players Guide also, but that's allready spoken for so I did'nt take pics.
I just realized the back of those guides still has my old address when I was a kid in NH. Of course I'm no longer there, so please ignore that addy.
Maxlords -- where were you when I asked here a couple times allready about that FF8 soundtrack?
Here's everything I can tell you about it -- I bought the soundtrack from the online store that Squaresoft had for a few months. It was just after FF8 came out here in the States -- I'd say early 1999. They sold other things on that website also -- some other OST's, games, figures, etc. Please don't get this confused with the OTHER store that Square ran back in the SNES days. This was a new online store where you bought things online from their website.
To the best of my knowledge, it was never sold anywhere else in the States besides the web store, and it's a different cover then the Japanese OST. I've never met anyone else who has that OST.
There's no mention of any other company on the box, CD's, or book except for Squaresoft. The book is quite good -- it has artwork I've never seen anywhere else, and a message from Uematsu in English.
Hold on....I'm looking at the credits in the book and it says this:
Presented by: SQUARE SOUNDS CO., LTO
Published by: Square Eletronic Arts LLC
Produced by: SquareSoft
So.....there you go. I've looked for a long time for extra info on this, with no luck. I recall I paid $35 for it.

Neat. I guess it's a collector's item. I suppose they didn't sell too many of em. I'd buy it off ya, but I think it might be worth a good bit more than you paid for it. Looks like a keeper...but if you WANT to part with it I'd be interested of course.
I'd have to say that I've never seen one before, and the fact that it's not published by Digicube means that it IS a US sndtrk. Neat! PM me if you're planning on getting rid of it Sorry I missed the threads you posted about it before....I've been intermittent in the main forum lately....

Hey, thanks for the article on the SquareSoft online store. That confirms what is printed on the FF8 OST -- it has a 1999 copyright date, when the game came out in the States on 9/9/99. (same as the Dreamcast, easy to remember. :P )
I recall them selling some other OST's on that site also -- damn, I wish I could recall which ones! I REALLY want to say Parasite Eve for some reason, and maybe some other 1998 releases. They had games, books, figures, and other stuff on there also.
Did'nt anyone else shop on the web back then? Am I the ONLY one who recalls that SquareSoft online store?
Maybe that's why it folded shortly after. I don't know for sure when it was closed, or what Square did with the remainder of the stuff.
The artwork in the book -- I have seen some of it in other places. You can see in one of my pics a nice drawing of the 'the girls' hugging each other and laughing. Other pics include one of Squall and Riona, the Ragnarok, Balamb Garden, and FH.
I'll even type up the interview with Uematsu in the book if there's intrest.
