Default WEEKEND FINDS:limited edition..THIS THREAD IS WORTH MORE NOW

I went to ToysRus and got:
Tomb Raider collectors Edition: I, II, III ($9.00)
Final Fantasy IX ($6.00) non-greatest hits

I don't know if I should open them for (I won't esp since I don't have a PS w/ me) and two I don't know if I should keep them or return them...was this a good price for them

Also at ToysRus they had one 5inch PS1 LCD (5 inch) screen left ($18.98) box was a bit dented and seal was ripped...Should I get it?

Also they had a combo lcd/ps1 pack for 59.98...Should I get it?

Goodwill had a dreamcast with a crapped up box and it came with a controller and a fishing controller (not official DC; BLUE) that had the wire taped together with black tape, also had instructions....Should I get it ($17.00)?

Yes friends...I had a hesitant day

    Mike

i'LL GIVE YOU TEN CENTS FOR IT

Well, the FFIX sounds decent but is the TR collection really worth anything? Not dissing those games, though...I've got III and I think it's alright, all things considered :P

I bought my PSone/LCD combo for $39.99 at TRU and I have to say I do kind of regret it. It was an impulse buy that I have no use for at all. My 5501 PSX still works great, and if I ever go on a trip I have my N-Gage and GBA. But I guess it'll come in handy one day if the 'ol PSX dies, but otherwise it's just going to sit in its box. So ask yourself if you're ever going to use it first. And I still think $60 is a decent price, not great though.

out of all that stuff, if you don't have a dreamcast...get one for $17. it may not have the most expansive library, but it has some truly golden (and cheap!) games.

I'm not a huge Tomb Raider fan, but for $9 I definitely would have bought that, too.

Aw man, come on! You gotta love how good PSX games look on the Sony LCD. Revitalized my interest. Mucho impressivo.

Oh, I'm not saying they don't look great, they do. Even high rez stuff like the Ridge Racer Turbo disk. But my PSX also looks great on my 27" TV through S-Video.

Cool.. DKC 3 Demo.. can i ask how much you got it for? i picked up one just before christmas, it's a sweet game, and jus the existance of DKC3 demo leads me to think there most also be a DKC2 demo WITH the little white "not for resale" sign on the front of the cart label.

PS. I know there are DKC2 demo's but they don't have the "Not for resale" on the front label.

Went over to the nearby gamers and scored some killer stuff:

    Bust A Move 4 Manual - free

Dreamcast - Worms World Party (complete) - 12
    Dreamcast - Resident Evil 2 (complete) - 12
Dreamcast - Record Of Lodoss Wars - 12
PSX - Nectaris: Military Madness (complete) - 5
    PSX - Elemental Gearbolt (complete) - 10
    PSX - Strider 2 (complete) - 10
    PSX - Silent Bomber (complete) - 10
    PSX - Devil Dice (complete) - 10
    PSX - Jersey Devil (complete) - 5

He also gave me Resident Evil 3 Nemesis for the DC for free by mistake...though it was a demo. Feel kinda bad about it, but oh well ;D.

Well today i had next to nothing to do so i hit EVERY pawn in my town. I scored big today, but i will save that for last

    Goodwill
    Dreamcast
    Marvel Vs. Capcom - $3
Ecco: Defener of the Future - $3

    St. Vincent Depaul
    Sega CD
    Ecco The Dolphin - $3

    4 Corners Cosignment Center
    Colecovision
    Cosmic Avenger - $3

    Hwy 99 pawn shop
    NES
    Snow Bros - $2.50
    SMB 3 Pirate - $2.50

    Another Hwy 99 pawn shop
    NES
Tecmo Super Bowl Complete - $3
Dino City SNES manual - free

    A-American buyers in Glenwood Store
    NES
Golf mint in box - $3
Ice Hockey mint in box - $3

    A-American buyers Springfield Store
    SNES
    Zero: kamikazie Squirrel - $5

And the last find i made was by far the best i have pulled off this year.
The funny thing is, i was debating whether i should stop or not, but considering the luck i had had today i figured what the hell, one more couldn't hurt. Boy was i glad i stopped.

I managed to snag 31 Playstation 1 games for $90. So that sounds like a pretty good score... getting ps1 games for $2.90 (and half) per title... but the kicker is...22 of the 31 games are FACTORY SEALED

Since there was a Sony Plant right near my town, it seems that people who worked there got these games for free... and a good chunk of them never opened their games. And the ones that they did open look either unplayed or played once.

The titles are as follows... also, these are all non-greatist hits, so even better

Opened, but look brand new and are complete & minty fresh

    Final Fantasy VII
    Spyro the Dragon
    Trap Gunner
    ReBoot
    Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
    Pocket Fighter
    D (jewel case version)
    Beyond the Beyond
    Bushido Blade

    Factory Sealed Titles are Below
    Shooter: Space Shot
    Blaster master: Blasting Again
    Battle Hunter
    Razor Racing
    Spec Ops: Covert Assault
    Twisted Metal III
    (C-12) Final Resistance
    Razor Freestyle Scooter
    R-Types
    Skydiving: Extreme
    MDK
    Crime Killer
    Rouge Trip
    Gundam Battle Assault 2
    Silent Bomber
    Martian Gothic
    Lode Runner
    Pocket Fighter
    Klonoa
    Armored Core: Master Arena
    Armored Core: Project Phantasma
    Armored Core

Paid just under $3 each... a good deal methinks

    Pics are below
