Default univid 1000 arcade test unit....heard of it?

i got this thing at an auction at a store that sold and serviced arcade machines. its an arcade test unit, as evidenced by the name printed on it. anyone have any experience with this? i had posted about it before but could not find that thread...

Hm, so it's a professional Supergun? That looks pretty cool. Did it come with the cable from the ad (the JAMMA one) or do you have to make one? Either way, looks like it could be pretty cool.

I don't know much about it, but if you ever want to get rid of it, let me know. Maybe we can work out a trade.

I do know they put out several wiring harnesses to allow you to hook up different boards (ie a harness for Taito, a harness for Williams, etc). You probably won't be able to find any original harnesses, but they should be easy enough to make once you know the pinout for those molex connectors.

Here is a pic of the flyer.

one of the guys i found on google had some of the harnesses for trade...i bet they were at the auction, i just didnt know what to look for.

i like it, maybe when i dump all my stuf(if i do ever) ill keep you in mind. i was assured it worked, but they also screwed me on their inventory of stuff i bought, so i cant really be sure. nothing to test it on either...i have a robotron and a defender cab, but neither work right now, and i obviously dont have the harnesses.

Okay, congrats. That's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. Great score for $120.
