Guncon question

I recently got a 2 guncons for 5 bucks a piece, they look like this:

Will I be able to use them to play Elemental Gearbolt and Point Blank on Psone? Or will they only work this ps2?

guncon2 is backwards compatible with guncon games. you should have no problem using it with point blank or elemental gearbolt. the guncon 2 is usb I dont think it will work on ps one(I dont know if there is an adaptor for it) but you should have no problem on ps2.

The Guncon 2 is NOT backwards compatible. As a matter of fact, Time Crisis and the Point Blank games were re-released in a collection with Guncon 2 compatibility in Japan. The original Guncon CAN be used with PS2 Guncon games though.

I'm sorry I was looking at the time crisis 2 box and it said guncon and guncon 2. I was assuming it was compatible with guncon games. The good news is you can pick up a guncon gun at gamestop pretty cheap.

On the back of the case it says it's GunCon compatable. I still need to get one so I can play the damn game. :/

Okay, I stand corrected. I'm probably thinking of some other game. Or maybe it just works with both or something.
