Interesting.
Namco developed, Triforce arcade game.
Has a camera that takes pictures of the players face to use as avatars in the game.

damn when was this released?
they MUST make a gamecube-port for godsake.
this looks too cool
Whoa! That's so cool. [Adds to list of arcade games I must have before I die. Wonders if they can be played as a single cabinet to save space in the house.]
Hopefully it will make it here like F-Zero AX did...
purely wow! nice to see pacman on a kart! I think every game ever made should have a kart version!

THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME THING I HAVE SEEN ALL WEEK!
I......must.....play.....
I love double dash, but this is what it should have been
man,I'm about to mail Nintendo my idea of releasing a port of this game(it uses the "Super Mario Sunshine"-engine btw) for gamecube which comes with a second disc including:
A playable demo of "Mario Kart DD!!"
the SNES "Super Mario Kart" (possible with enabled 4 player mode)
and the N64 "MArio Kart 64"
Like they did with limited "Zelda-Wind Waker (Pal version)"
Anyone with me?
WOW, that's looks so cool and amazing!!!!
The screenshots denote that it's a location test version, so I assume this isn't out yet. It looks pretty hot though. I can't tell from the pictures if it's got player cards like F-Zero...

Heh...this game looks awesome. It'z funny how the people put their picz as their icon on the game. If I see this game, I'll definately play it. I love racing games. ....well not all.
I really hope that Nintendo and Namco port this to the Gamecube. It shouldn't be too hard, considering that the Triforce hardware is Gamecube-based.
EDIT: Oh yeah, this reminds me, Namco and Nintendo seem to be doing more and more joint projects. Hmm...
Egbert, I miss you...
I dunno if Nintendo will release this on the cube. I mean, two Kart titles in three years would probably be a bit much.
If anything, they might end up releasing an enhanced port on the Revolution.
Of course, knowing Nintendo, they'll prove me wrong and release it on the Cube anyway.
First - that looks fucking awesome. DD was decent, but not really a "Kart" game, it was more of a "buggy" game.
Second - the fact that it apparently uses a camera to take a picture of the actual driver (person playing the game) and morph their face with the character that they have chosen - is awesome! I'd have a lot of fun making funny face when they take that shot, or even better - digressing about 10 years here - putting my butt up when those shots are taken
Gamecube Port would be most appreciated.
How recent is this thing?
It was either announced yesterday or today. I'd say it's pretty recentOriginally Posted by Jive3D

Where's my quarters? I gotta make a trip to Japan this week! Just damn!
Thats what I'd like to see. Nintendo really needs to start off the next gen with a bang (a couple franchise titles) unlike they did with the Gamecube.Originally Posted by joshnickerson
