    Thanks!

The 670-xxxx-xxx numbers are individual item numbers - there's a different one on each of the manual, cart and box, hence why I haven't listed those.
It means that some games have no Part# listed, but I'd prefer this to being inconsistent with the numbers used (every game with a 'proper' part number also has a 670-xxxx-xxx number aswell).

Similarly, the EA games have slightly different numbers on the cart, box & manual - usually ExxxSMXI in the box, ExxxSMXM on the manual and either ExxxSMXC on the cart (for the few games where they didn;t just use Genesis carts) or the 7xxx numbers (when they did use Genesis carts).
Again, to avoid being inconsistent, I've just used the part that is the same on each: ExxxSMX.

As it happens, it's possible to work out what the part number "should be" for all the early 1st Party games that don't have one listed, by looking at the bar-code - for example, Sonic 1 has the barcode "4 974365 610098".
The 9th-12th numbers are the part number - in this case "1009", or strictly speaking (since it's a European release) MK-1009-50.
I've considered adding these to those games that are missing it, but instead decided to only list what was printed on the box.

thx for clearing that up, does that db allow non-nummeric characters in the product code field? if so you could add a "none" or something like for those who don't have one so people know you're not missing them
