Default Amiga CD32 - totally dead. But is there hope?

I recently bought a CD32 at the Sunday markets, and well - I bring it home, and it's totally dead (a part of me expected it not to work).

There are no signs of life whatsoever - no lights, no drive activity. Dead.

My question is: is there anything I can do to get it working again? Or anything that can be done to determine what's gone wrong?

    Thanks!

It's possible that the power supply is toast. It should be the same supply as the Amiga 500/600/1200 if you have an extra one of those lying around. If that's not the issue, good luck. Everything was pretty much surface mounted and cramed into a small case.
