Default Hey You Pikachu Lock out :(

My Package arrived from youruglyclone today with the very nice Hey You Pikachu in it

Although, with there being a region lock chip (or so i believe) i can seem to boot it using my adapter. (Dont forget im a PAL region'er!)

I then tried using my adapter, then an action replay in, and managed to boot the action replay.

I was wondering if there were any action replay codes i could use to disable the lock out chip so i can play this game and be a 10 year old again

    Cheers

All N64 games have lockouts, maybe the refresh rate is causing issues with the microphone or something, and that's making the game not boot.

And the more I think about that, the more nonsensical it sounds. I'm assuming other NTSC carts with with your adaptor? Maybe try it without the mic plugged in.

SuperNES: Probably not much, I saw tons of copies marked at ten bucks during the final days of the N64, and they weren't going anywhere. A similar situation to Pokemon Snap and Perfect Dark...

I've got Hey You Pikachu! and got it to work on my UK N64 by using a Passport III and one of the inbuilt codes on there (for another game) but I don't know if it'll work with an Equalizer (which I think I have one of somewhere). Might be worth picking up a Passport III from Lik-Sang or Play Asia.
