Exellent Dizzy GG was relased?!
I guess I need to edit the SMS prototype entry then. I was under the impression that Both the SMS and GG Dizzy collection were prototypes.

I found a copy of Super Kick Off (1 player, 670-2258) which seems to be missing from the rarity guide If someone's interested i could make a picure of it...
A scan would be great, thanks! Also, is it a domestic or import release?Originally Posted by yok-dfa
Sure, but i don't really have any good place to host them. If you can put them somewhere for me send me PM with your email. I'll send them to you. Super Kick Off is most likely an European release.
Anyway, i also noticed that some of my games have different part numbers then the ones in the rarity list. Below is a list of the differences i found:
Sega Game Pack 4-in-1: 670-2756
Deep Duck Trouble w/ Donald Duck : 670-3538
Ecco 2: Tides of Time: 670-4829-50
Factory Panic: 670-1723
J League Soccer Dream Eleven (Japan): 670-7595
J League Game Gear Pro Striker '94 (Japan): 670-4934
Ninja Gaiden. I have two different versions of this game. I could not find any differences in gameplay, but the labels and part no. are different.: 670-1736 and the other one is:670-1607 (also have picture of these). It might be that one of them is a Japanese release.
Ren & Stimpy Show, The: Quest for the Shaven Yak: 670-3540
Pengo: 670-1371
Putt & Putter: 670-1734
Shinobi: 670-1412
Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble: 670-4818
Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Sonic and Tails: 670-2533
Streets of Rage: 670-2531
Smurfs, The: t-151018
Wimbledon: 670-2474 (i assume this is the same as Wimbledon Championship Tennis although the title-screen and label only say Wimbledon)
Unless noted otherwise (and as far as i know) all these games are European releases (but no guarantees )
Super Kick Off
Box #(670-2140-50)
Cart #(670-2258)

That's a European release, as are most of the games yok-dfa listed.
Is there a list somewhere with all the partnumbers for european releases (i've noticed that the rarity list here is lacking in the PAL department)...
I've got a rough list of European GG games, but it would need a bit of work before submitting it here, which I haven't really got time for at the moment. I'd be happy to pass the details onto anyone else (US GG editor?) if they fancy tackling it.
One problem with GG games is that the numbers on the carts themselves (eg 670-xxxx) are individual part numbers and a different one is used on each of the box, manual & cart.
When working on the Euro SMS & MD lists, I've ignored these type of numbers and instead just used the 'overall' product number for each game, (eg xxxx-50 or T-xxxxx-50), which is usually listed on the side of the box.
I'd check and see how the US GG list handles this, but the database seems to be down right now.
It's somewhere around the 200 mark, I think.
Is there any peticularly hard to find Euro GG games?
I have F-15 Strike Eagle for the GG - at least that's the title on both the cart & the intro screen (don't have box or manual). Guide only lists F-15 Strike Eagle II, so I'm not sure if they're the same game or not.
I am curious about this too. Is it possible to give a top-10 list of the most hard to find GG games? (so that i at least know which games to look for).Originally Posted by Ed-Wood
I haven't really spent enough time looking at it to know the real rarities, but as a general rule, I think most of of the later ('96ish) games were all produced in relatively small numbers.
I Know Wolfchild is a hard one to find.
I have only seen one on ebay the last 3 years.
I got lucky.
These are still listed as US releases and none have been confirmed. Can these be moved to either non-US (where confirmed) or Rumor Mill?
Alien Syndrome (known Euro & Japanese release)
Baby Boom (pretty sure this was cancelled, does it exist anywhere?)
Championship Hockey (possible Euro release of NHL All Star?)
Pengo (known Euro & Japanese release)
Power Drive (known Euro release published by US Gold and developed by Rage)
Tony LaRussa Baseball (which I previously mentioned)
Trunski (other then game lists there is absolutely no other mention of this game on any site)
Also, shouldn't the Game Genie and FM Tuner be moved to hardware?

There should already be seperate entries for any European versions, so these can probably be shunted to the Rumor Mill or removed altogether.Originally Posted by mikeetler
Are you sure about that one, Mike? It was mentioned in this recent SMS Power thread: http://www.smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7035Originally Posted by mikeetler
You're right. That one was finally confirmed. I just dit a cut and paste on the list from six months ago and didn't think to remove it. Urban Strike is the only other really questionable one since the rom's out there (doesn't mean much though)Originally Posted by anagrama
*EDIT*
Finally confirmed Urban Strike. I hadn't been checking for a while but just came across a picture of the US cart.
2 years ago stopped working on my own list, which I started because the internet was lacking a good games list for the GameGear.
http://www.gamegear.nl/gamegear/ultimate.html
I will start working on the list and the rest of the site shortly. Just moved in a new house and need to get rid of 400 to 500 games (I drop all my SegaCD, Sega Saturn, N64, SNES games) and the systems.
Just focussing on SMS, SMD (Genesis), MegaTech and Gamegear in the future.
Back on topic, maybe my list from way back can add something to the list over here...
