Havok is a physics engine. I'm not sure how much of Halo 3 they got done working on halo 2 as far as levels designs go, but if they have some already, that'll cut time down. They've already got plenty of sound effects recorded from the first two games-it'd be mostly dialogue and actually making the levels and the graphics that'd suck the time. As for Halo 2 downloadable maps, they've been hinting that they'll be out within a couple weeks, and that there's a number of them that are coming together (at least 2, but I'm expecting more like 4 or 5).
