Default Super Mario Advance 4 Wal Mart Edition.

I've got a brand new Super Mario Advance 4 Wal Mart Edition, which includes bonus E-cards, and was wondering how much does one usually goes for ?

If I remembered correctly, a recent issue (2005 issue) of the Tips and Tricks magazine listed a completed auction price on Ebay, anybody can help me out and tell me how much it was ?

    Thanks

It was $99.99. I was meaning to ask Joe where he gets these price from WHICH auctions...since these auctions seem to turn up some nice things...

I payed $80 for a complete set of cards about 6 months ago. That included ALL the e-Reader cards including those extra Wal-Mart ones. The things are pretty hard to come by - makes me wonder why they didn't create more rare e-Reader cards.

I guess I was lucky I just happened to purchase mine at Wal-Mart... and week before the official release date to boot.

Thanks for the info. If this is legit, looks like I will list the game on ebay. Anyone interested in this before I go to Ebay ? Of course I am not looking for $100, but let me know if you have any reasonable offer.

Anyone got a link to that ebay auction? The same guy kept continuouly relisting the same copy of walmart SMB4 for $99 and it kept continuously not selling. Did someone finally bite the bullet?

New, factory sealed, the set of 5 cards have an value of $40-$50.

I consider myself very lucky that I found someone on eBay shortly after they came out selling the Walmart SMBA4 pack AND the two additional sets of e-Reader cards for... $25! Yep. Now that's cheap. And $10 shipping to the UK.

    The problem(s) with this were:

-e-Reader was too expensive ($40? C'mon...the original GBA is that much now, if you can find it)

-The idea was very novel and took a while to catch on.

-All the good stuff came out in Japan

Anyone have a picture of what you talking about? I bought mine at Wal-Mart, and it doesn't look too valuable. What exactly am I looking at?

I'd like to add one more thing to this:

To get the data into certain games (SMB4, for instance), you needed two GBA's, a link cable, the E-Reader, the E-Reader cards and the game. There wasn't a way to just get the E-Reader and the cards. Doing that would've helped greatly.
