Anyone else heard of this? Is it worth it?

Not really. Although you don't see too many boxed... however the box is in pretty bad shape. At least the foam is ok. If you really want a shuttle, maybe stalk YJ for one in better condition.

Yeah it's just a regular pc-engine but cooler looking I'd pay no more than $125 for one (maybe $200 in a nice looking box)....but maybe that's why I dont have one! They usually go for $174-$299 + shipping w/o box. In fact that is the first one I've seen in a box. The box looks pretty cool though!
It's nice for completion of collection sake... but other than that.. I'd pass on it. Also, the expansion port on it is rather limited. Can't hook up a CD unit for example.
The shuttle is pretty common, but come to think of it I really have never seen that box before. I also had no idea that the controller for the Shuttle is wireless. Does that go for all versions of the shuttle, or is this a special model?

There's another system that looks vaguely like the Jaguar... Hmm...

Wireless??? Where did you read that? NEC did do a wireless controller/multi-tap setup, but that was independant from the Shuttle. In fact, I have a shuttle pad and it comes with a regular (albeit diffirently shaped) wired controller. The exact same type that's included with that auction.Originally Posted by rbudrick
Oh, I guess you are right. That pic of that controller sure looked like a bulky wireless thing., THe door for the Hucard slot also looked like an infrared thingy too. Bah... I should really drink more coffee before posting.
