I just got Persona from a pawn and it has the evil whole CD Hollywood Video sticker on it. Does anyone know if there is anyway to get it off without messing up the disc?

What kind of sticker is it? Does it take up the whole disc? Is it clear with "Hollywood video" printed on it?
It is the whole CD one...
It looks like it could damage the game if I tried to remove it, because its really strong at takes up the whole CD.
Hrm...
Okay, I bought Indiana Jones for the n64 a while back from Blockbuster and it had the accursed BB sercurity label RIGHT ON THE FRONT LABEL. Bleck. But decided to try something. The BB label is basically blue and yellow print printed onto a clear sticker. What I did was use Goo Gone (you can use an equivilant if need be) and use that to wipe off the blue print. The sticker remained, as well as the damned security tab, but it still looks better than with a stupid BB logo on it.
So really, if it's a clear label (that you can still see the game's original label underneath; there's no hollywood video nearby so I don't know myself) just try some goo gone and see what happens. I don't know if it'll work or not, but hey, what've you got to lose?
I found Grandia for the ps1 and it had one of those stickers on both disks. I just ripped the stickers off and used goo gone on the adhesive left on the disk. It is realy difficult to pull them off and I know it looks like it would ruin the disk, but I was more worried about the wear and tear on my ps1. You can't even tell the disks had the stickers on them.
Hope this helps.
heat is no good? - i mostly use a heat gun on carts - cds ive left alone for worry of damage
