Microsoft has stated MANY times that they will have their new system out before Sony and that if we were to have one Xmas with one but not the other that it would be THEIRS (Microsoft).
They want this Xmas to themselves and Im under the impression that we will see the Next Xbox this November FOR CERTAIN if not sooner.

Hmmm.... I wonder if taking the Microsoft "leaking information" strategy would work better than Nintendo's "keep it secret 'till the year before launch at E3".

According to the Xbox rep, it won't be, or most likely won't be.
I'll be holding off for quite a while myself considering I only have a measly 12 Xbox games (vs GCNs 30+, and PS2s 80+....both of which next gen consoles should be backwards compatable)
