Best Wrestling game on NES?

The ones I have played i have enjoyed WWF WrestleMania Challenge the most.

Pro Wrestling is easily #1, and WCW is #2. The rest are average or worse. It's a shame you didn't list WCW because it's the only real contender for Pro Wrestling's crown.

I think Tecmo World Wrestling is the best, hands down. The game's training mode, in-ring animation, and play by play set it apart from any other wrestling game on the NES. Unfortunately, I don't think it sold as well as Westlemania or Pro Wrestling. Get the rom, play it for awhile, then tell me Pro Wrestling is a better game.

I think Tecmo World Wrestling is the best, hands down. The game's training mode, in-ring animation, and play by play set it apart from any other wrestling game on the NES. i dont have to download the rom,as i own both games for my nes.and while tecmo world wrestling is a good wrestling game,it just doesnt have that certain flair that pro wrestling has,but maybe thats just me.i have more fun playing pro wrestling then tecmo world wrestling.

For me it is a three-way tie between Pro Wrestling, WWF Wrestlemania Challenge, and World Championship Wrestling. All three are so much fun. Pro Wrestling and WCW are quite a bit more advanced than Wrestlemania Challenge, though.

WrestleMania Challenge was good, but I liked Pro Wrestling better for some odd reason. I guess it was the over-the-top characters like StarMan, and a Hulk Hogan rip-off. WWF WrestleMania was totally abysmal. Never could quite figure out how to pin my opponent.

That's easy, you just hit Up, Down, A or B, can't remember which button it is. Also, that was with Hogan. He is pretty much the only one that I ever choose, so I can't say if the pin buttons are the same with every wrestler or not. I personally like the game too because it was my very first wrestling game ever. So, I guess I have a special place in my heart for it :P

My brain says Pro Wrestling. Kin Corn Karn was my favorite. It's fun to play, and for me, fun to look at. I'm biased towards those old black label games.

But I remember my mom bought me Wrestlemania for my birthday one year. Nostalgia makes me love this game. I love the music, those digitized look to the characters, and even the complicated crappy moves.

I'll go with logic and say Pro Wrestling.

We even held tournamnets with our friends and had "main events" Wow , such good memories

I agree that Tecmo World Wrestling is a great wrestling game and is technically superior to Pro Wrestling, but, come on... Kin Korn Karn! King Slender! The Great Puma!

Pro Wreslting still holds up to most of the wrestling games out there today. I has a Creature from the Black Lagoon look-a-like! Tecmo is solid and WCW is really deep, but neother has anything on the Pro.

Wrestlemania. Friends and I spend countless hours humming the Hulk Hogan & Macho Man Randy Savage theme songs because of this game. I love Pro Wrestling too don't get me wrong, but there is something about the real wrestlers that did it for me as a kid with this game.

I still hold a special place in my heart for Starman though.

Wrestlemania Challenge was always a multiplayer blast with friends. I played that game like crazy back in the day. The others may have additional features and moves, but for just simplicities sake, Wrestlemania Challenge _all_ the way!
