    Default Xbox Controller Help

I just recently picked up an S Xbox controller. Occasionally, the right trigger acts like it's being pushed when it's not. It doesn't do it all the time and it doesn't "seem" to be a physical problem, as pulling the trigger and shaking the controller don't seem to cause or fix the problem.

The last controller I opened was an Atari 2600 joystick. What are the odds this problem is fixable?

try and open it. there is a spring inside xbox triggers that can come loose. mine makes a really annoying noise when you pull it. although s controllers are hard to get open it's most likely something inside.
