NEO GEO Rules! - Thanks Omnedon!
Thanks to our friendly DP member and Old School Gamer "Omnedon" I am now the proud owner of a Universe Bios 2.0 modified NEO GEO AES unit.
I just started playing it last night and I am already in 2D heaven... Good lord, the games. It's amazing to me that these suckers best most of the current-gen games that I own.
Anyway, I just wanted to make a public "thank you" to Omnedon and his excellent service. I knew he had a good rep, but I was surprised at the level of professionalism he displayed. From the moment we began discussing what kind of unit I wanted to the second it arrived at my door, I felt like I was dealing with a first class service provider.
The Neo Geo not only works like a charm, but the S-Video and AV output modifications made by Steve actually make the unit BETTER than what it was when it first shipped from the factory. All this at a fair price! I checked around the web and found that the rate I was going to pay was comparable to most other places, but I'm sure that the level of service and quality of work were nowhere near what I got from the "Old School Gamer." Rest assured that if you need some work done, you can't beat this guy:
