Do you think Microsoft will lead in the Next Generation?

There is already a post wondering if Nintendo will lead in the next round and it's a very hot topic, but I thought I might as well try a Microsoft related one.

In the next round I think judging by how the market is going and who's doing what Microsoft will probably lead the next round the whole way through. Now they're already going to lead at the start by default as they're releasing a console at least 5 months before Nintendo will which is a decent head start and should work in their favour. The real strategy here is to beat Sony at their own game by coming to market a whole year before the major competitors have a chance to, thus quickly grabbing a good chunk of the market. Nintendo is planning a similar strategy of beating Sony which will work out in their favour as well.

Personally I hope Nintendo wins out in the next round, I'm pretty sure they're going to win Japan back but as for North America and Europe we'll have to wait and see.
