How does this help him with getting CV and Mark III boxed items? I'm missing the point here.

Yes that doesnt help me but is cool none the less. I bought a Game Gear ordered from Japan when they first came out because it saved me about $50. I went crazy when I put in my master gear converter and found most of my sms games came up as Mark III. WOW! Different enemies in Wonderboy, Japanese writing in others, changed levels even in some games. That was one of my best gaming experiences by far, trying all my sms games in the japanese game gear.
