ehh.. might give him $200 for it. tell em to dump the sports titles and all the other games you can get for $1 and give em $180 or something.. your doing him a favor.. you don't buy common loose games in bulk to make him money, you do it to save yourself money.

Now if they were all MIB, then $300 you could consider a break even deal.

I'm hoping that includes systems too, otherwise, you're getting the bum end of the deal IMO.

I would say $150 tops. I myself wouldn't even pay that, but $150 would be a fair price.

There's a lot of good stuff in there. A few of the NES and SNES titles are nice, and Harvest Moon 64 is a great game. Castlevania SOTN and Parappa the Rapper are both getting harder to find cheap, they'll probably be the Contra and Final Fantasy of PSX collecting, and by that I mean they'll maintain there value more than most games. Still, I wouldn't pay over $200 for all that stuff. $300 is a lot of money, and if you hit some fleas and garage sales, you could find twice as much stuff for that.

Wellllll, hard to say. As the N64 is one of the systems I followed and researched the most, I did a little digging on the three games you list. On the average (between online stores, online auctions, and individual sellers online-ie Amazon) you'd be looking to spend $105 for those three titles together. Harvest Moon alone goes for an INSANE amount, ranging from $39 to $90. Super Smash Bros goes from $25 to $35 and Robotron is the cheapest, going for a mere $6 to $15. This is for used items in varying states of completion.

Can't say much on the other games. As other stated, some of those titles you could probably get cheaper as a lot as many of them are commons. I know Pirates can fetch a little more coin than most of those NES games. C:SOTN isn't really "rare": the big online stores have this on hand and I saw 67 auctions for it on E-Bay tonight. I think it's because the series is so popular and that it's hailed as one of the best (if not THE best) in that series, so the price gets jacked up.

Bottom line: it all depends what it's worth to YOU. I know you are new to the game collecting and the above sentence probably isn't what you are looking for, but it may be best to figure out WHAT you want to collect and why. Hey, some people collect everything, some collect only what means the most to them.

Congrats Atari7800. Doing a bit of math (you all remember that right??) You just got a lot of good games, for just under $4 apiece...

From what I see price wise around here, I don't see that as being too unreasonable...in fact, considering I have trouble finding SNES Madden games for less than $5, I think you did pretty good.

I'm a cheapskate, so I probably wouldn't have done it, but the main thing is that you are happy, your friend is happy, and that's all that matters.

Yeah, the second deal was great...you sell the SPF2T (80), Harvest Moon 64 (40), C:SoTn (35), and sealed Suikoden 2 (probably 80-90; it goes 50 loose), you'll pick up almost 250 bucks - so you get nearly everything else for around 50 dollars. Great deal; I'd buy it in a second, although I like my games boxed.
