Sonic 3
And if I can get away with it it'd be plugged in to Sonic and Knuckles.

Hmm.
Honestly, as much as I love fighting games, and as much as actually think others in the series are better...
Final Fantasy I
I've played through and beaten this so many times on SO MANY consoles (about to restart on a famicom version, so my first all-japanese attempt) with so many party configs (fav? WAR/RDM/WHM/BLM) that it just deserves to be there.
2nd place for the same reason (but less play throughs) goes to FFVII.
Third would be KoF 2003 - King as a broken top tier character? Sign me up!

Maximo: Ghosts to Glory for the PS2.
The Legend Of Zelda, this was one of the first games I really loved as a kid and still do to this day. I still break it out 2 or 3 times a year to run through it.
The original Kasselveinia.
I wish I could be buried in a sand tomb, the sand feels awesome under bare feet (I work in a cemetery). Maybe I'd be able to come back as a mudman.
Dracula: The constant villain of the series. His usual tactics include breaking a number of wine glasses and transforming into his true form.
For me it has to be Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
This is the first game I really got into and it turned me into a Sonic fan for life. Many hours of my youth were spent on that game.
Heaven = Final Fantasy VIII
Hell = Resident Evil 2
Purgatory = World of Warcraft
I figure I can play WOW until the end of time and by that time the big guy could decide if all the times I have helped little old ladies across the road overcomes all the little kids who I ripped of (It wasn't that many...) ^_^.

Without a doubt it would be Mega Man 2 (NES).
Arguably the game that got me started with gaming in general, I still go back to it every year and relive the magic.
Ok, so like a soulmate right? Cartridge based?
Not one I would play, but one that I would forever be one with in an eternal slumber with it by my side as a mirror into my soul?
That would have to be Maniac Mansion for the nes.
Yes, I can sleep peacefully knowing that it is there.

I think i'll go with Yoshi's Island for the SNES. I have so many memories with that game that will put me at ease.
Super Mario Bros, so I can end my gaming life the way I started it.
Final Fantasy VI, my original cart. It would probably fit in my tuxedo pocket. I could ask a close friend to discretly place it there at the funeral.
Phantasy Star Online Ep 1&2. That game is almost infinitely replayable to me, even offline.
If we're talking cartridges, I don't know, maybe Pac Man on the 5200 because it's such a great port and so replayable? Treasure of Tarmin on the Inty because it's a fairly deep game and has a lot of nostalgic value?
If you can't do it with 8 bits, you don't need to do it!
Sonic 2 got me started in gaming when I was 6 and got my first Genesis. Sonic may have got me started but The Punisher dominated my youth. So I'd go with The Punisher and maybe a sonic 2 cart tucked into my sock
Assuming I actually change my mind and decide to be buried, Yoshi's Island. I think that was the first game I ever sought out by name. Before that, my parents had bought just a couple of games that were simply big hits, but after I played Yoshi's Island at my friend's house I knew I had to have it for myself.
Crash Team Racing for the PS1.
Its the first game I ever owned, and the first one I beat.
1 of two nes games:
Contra - I can never get board of it because it is so awesome
Silent assault - It would help maintain the humor in heaven
Well as a big Mother fan I would love to be buried with Earthbound, though I don't own a copy myself. My other options would be the Mother 1 proto cart that gave birth to repros, and the Mother 3 Deluxe Box. As far as what I actually own and want to be buried with, ZAMN, since I could never get tired of playing it
The Guardian Legend, without a doubt.
