Default help with Turbografx CD PROBLEM SOLVED

Hi, yesterday I picked up a nice TG-16 lot and I'm having a problem getting the CD attachment to work. The console itself works fine with it's original power supply & RF switch. The CD player powers up if I plug the CD power supply directly in to it but nothing happens when the CD power supply is plugged in to the CD attachment and A/V cables are used. I've never had a Turbografx CD but I don't think I'm hooking anything up wrong. Is there a common problem (fuse or bad connection somewhwere maybe?) with the CD attachment?
    Thanks, y-bot

You should probably post this over in the Technical and Restoration Society forum. They should be able to help you over there.

Is are the 2 locks engaged? It won't work if the locks aren't engaged ALL THE WAY. I had to learn that the hard way.

Well, I cleaned all the connections with compressed air and I wish I could say that's what fixed it but, the real problem was that I didn't have the switch on the CD adapter on. I feel like an idiot. It works perfectly now.
