Default Who "plays" Lumines while sleeping?

No it's not a joke, it is Tetris all over again !!! I noticed that when I play a game of Lumines just before sleeping I end up playing it in my dreams to, trying to figure out the best combos...I'm telling you, it's Tetris all over again... Tetris "outtetrissed"!

I have done this with more games than I can count. Tetris, Tetris Attack, Bomberman, DDR, Drummania, Tony Hawk, Katamari Damacy, Technic Beat... It's even scarier when your addiction reaches the point where the hallucinations completely cease.

I've heard alot of people raving about Lumines, is it really THAT good?

I wasen't interested, but I watched the demo and it looks pretty cool. very bright and pretty colors/fast simple play/cool music.

I can't decide between Lumines, THUG2(I LOVE Tony Hawk games) or Mercury(looks really sweet)

Any ideas? (sorry for getting a little off topic)

I find myself thinking about Lumines patterns when doing other things (daydreaming, if you will), getting better combos, and things like that.

And yes, it really is that good.

After a two-hour game of Lumines, I cannot function correctly. All I see are blocks and repeating patterns. I can't sleep, I can't drive, and I foam at the mouth.

Take Lumines over Mercury. Talk about two sides of a coin - I got Lumines on a whim and now I can't stop playing it. I got Mercury after being excited about it and it hasn't lived up to the hype. And the load times are excrutiating!

I've been known to do a little block shifting in my sleep. And yeah, it's hard to play Lumines for an hour and a half hitting 99+ and not have your eyes play tricks on you.

Lumines has one of the finest presentations I've ever seen in a video game. And forcing you to play your butt off to unlock features is great.

It's one of those games that forces you to be REALLY good to see everything it has to offer.

Yes. THUG2 is good, but more of the same. MErcury also looks good but I havent played it. Lumines is the must-have PSP game right now, IMHO.

Every time I close my eyes or have idle non-thinking time, I seem to be filling my mind with those four squared blocks trying to fit them together. It's amazing how addictive it is!

Yeah... even during the day now, sometimes I find my thoughts drifting to falling blocks...

I've noticed this myself as well....and Zoo Keeper on the DS is notorious for it too. I've heard numerous other people tell me that they see the little animals when they close their eyes.

I wonder if it subconciously makes us better players?

I was doing it again today!! I was watching Texas Justice on my break at work and all I could think about was piecing together those damn blocks!

I had to change my avatar and title!!!
