I don't play PS2 much anymore, but does Sony still mangle the cover art for "Playstation The Best" rereleases? I have a few for PS1 and there's always a thick white border around a scaled-down picture.

Yup, completly bastardized. However the ones that Sega and SNK do don't look that much differint from the original.

This weekend I picked up Cool Cool Toon for Sega Dreamcast. A hard music/rhythm game that was overshadowed by Space Channel 5.

Just got my order from Play-Asia.com, bought dotstream and Dialhex for the GBA (from the BitGenerations series). Both are very cool, very nice... Dialhex I can already say it doesn't get the respect I think it deserves. lol

Parodius Portable (still need Salamander and Twinbee Portables, getting them soon), took months for one to finally appear on ebay from an American seller (all 3 are available from the same guy), when I finally spotted all of them, my impulse was originally to buy all 3 imports one at a time, but to hell with that, gonna get the final two at the same time (completes the 4 pack, Gradius Collection, Parodius Portable, Salamander Portable, Twinbee Portable) and get that part of collecting over with.

If you haven't picked it up yet, set your sights on Orbital next. Unbelivable puzzlish game based on inertia. I liked Dotstream a lot too, but it gets pretty darn hard quickly.

Agreed! It's one of my favorite platformers for PS, just below the Goemon series of course. I read somewhere that there was a sequel in production for Xbox, but I've never seen a copy.
