Default Info on V Tech VZ200?

Checked online, not much info in the states about the unit anyway from what I could see. The only post that brought up something in the DP forums was a unit for sale for $10 that sold quickly.

I will post in the normal thread what all I found today , but one unit struck me as not knowing anything about.

At a garage sale, I found the following, all like new in the box:

VZ200 - Personal Color Computer (4K BYTES RAM)
    DR10 - Data Cassette Recorder
    JS-20 - Joystick x 2 / JI-20 Joystick Interface
    16K RAM Memory Expansion Module
    6 Data Cassettes (tapes)
Introduction to BASIC (Includes Manual)(16K RAM Required)
    CIRCUS (Picture looks like Kickman)
Cheque Book Reconciliation / Family Budget
    Demonstration Tape
    Match-Box (Matching game)
    Bust Out (Breakout clone)

She had make an offer, and subtracting my other finds , it came out to be $2.50 for all of this. I offered her $20 for everything which 2 of the 4 items had prices on them, and the other two (including this unit) had make an offer. Again, I will post in the normal location for weekend finds for the rest.

    Thanks,

    Corey

I was the feller who sold the vz200 a few months back.

I was never able to find much about it either.

What little I could find out was that it was a popluar computer in Australia back in the early 80s. There is a whole family of vz computers, of which obviously the vz200 is one of.

I've seen them pop up on ebay every now and then, but certainly not consistently.

It's kind of a cute little thing, and that 16k RAM expansion is worth a good laugh. Still, I don't collect computers and was in need of making space quickly so into the sell pile it went.
