Default Kingdom Hearts, best place to find mystery goo ??

I am looking for the best place to find this. I am thinking it is through fighting but where? I have not yet got any. Of the items I have left to synthesize, most of them need the mystery goo. I am up to the point where you fight Maleficant for the second time, when she turns into a dragon. I am sure I am nearing the end of the game but I want to get everything I can first.

Thanks Chunky, I will try that! But how do you know what magic they need? Or is it just random which magic is needed?

they so some odd things, like shiver, then they need heat, play then they need thunder, look ill, then they need cure, i forget how that goes. if you get it wrong they go away, each time you get it right you hear a beep or jingle.

This will give you all the info you need. I promise. Although, getting the mystery goo is still an amazing bitch, even when you know the right way to do it.

I've gotten Mystery Goo from the white mushrroms. These are the places I've found the mushrooms very frequently: Lotus Forest in Wonderland and the 1st Cemetary in Halloween Town.

    Shiver: Fire
    Fanning: Blizzard
    Dark Light: Thunder

These are the ones I really look out for, since I can never remember what the other ones require as a spell.

There are also blue mushrooms (throat of Monstro) that you have to keep in the air. You can practice in one of the Coloseum cups. Or the black mushrooms that I've found in the pumpkin patch of Halloween town.
