Stumbled across this, its going pretty high. I've seen screens shots of this, and heard it was great... Does anyone know the story of any other reason it is going this high? I wonder why it didnt make it to the US

Rare game... I got the Euro Mega Drive version for hmmm.. I think 57-58 Euros It's an awesome game... Anyways, the JAP version is rarer... In regard to your second question, I have no idea why it didn't make it to the US...

Yes the game is quite rare even in Europe, although not that rare. Japanese version is expensive and rare as the Japanese Megadrive market was already almost dead when they released the game. (check the other ebay topic about Japanese Megadrive-games for some more info.

I think the price for the euro-version is mainly high as a lot of USA-collectors also wants to get copies, Terranigma for the SNES is also not that rare, but as the number of potential buyers is much higher when also Americans want the really great Euro-only games, prices go up.

He on that point it's good to live in Europe as USA-only (or as far is it goes about games released in West) don't have the same reaction.
