Okay, I just discovered something. You know that special track in Daytona 2 that's basically all 3 of the tracks strung together? That same "track" is hidden in Outrun 2 for XBox, with just the traditional Outrun 2 freeway sections dividing the 3 stages. Wicked.

I used to work at an arcade when I was a teenager and I was the Daytona USA champion. (as well as the Rave Racer champion, Air Hockey Champion and the Archanoid champion) I'm a dirty mother f'er though! My fav tactic is to hook someones rear end and turn them into the wall.
    Good Times!!

You can tweak the sensitivity of the DC version in the options menu, which makes things a lot more controllable.
A decent arcade wheel (I've only tried a couple, but have heard that the Ferrari one is best) is still the best way to go though.

Yeah, I've got it as low as it goes, and it still jumps all over the place. Ha ha. I even put the adjustment all the way to the other extreme to make sure I wasn't reading it wrong. Dear god, you should have seen that horrifying exercise in futility when I tried to steer the car.
