Hey, I'm on the East coast, so maybe I can make it to NJ.

The hell it is! I've driven to Joe's house and back TWICE in a 24-hour period. And this - THIS is Mecca for us! Ain't it worth a pilgramage?

Whoa, just noticed that this thread popped up again so I thought I'd throw in a quick update!

Sales have been tremendous - I expected a really good month of December and January is going just as well so far. I sell just about equal quantities of new stuff and old stuff. College students, adults and to a smaller degree high schoolers have become fairly regular NES, SNES and Genesis game purchasers (with the occasional Dreamcaster in there). The middle school contingent feeds regularly on the PS2, XBox, GameCube, PSP and DS.

From what I've seen, PS2 sells twice as well as XBox and GameCube, and XBox and GameCube are about equal in popularity. PSP is about 2/3 of the new handheld game sales.

This town is a soccer town. I always wondered who bought all this FIFA stuff. Clifton, a highly diverse ethnic community, is certainly part of that buying group. I can hardly keep soccer games in stock.

Somewhere in this forum are photos from our first store tournament. The next tournament is on the 27th (Super Smash Bros Melee, by popular request).

One of our forum members, Schenley, is doing the LAN Center/PC Gaming Room installation towards the end of this month. The store will have this feature ready sometime in mid-February. Word is out at the local high school where a place that used to do this full time closed down about a year ago.

I'm hiring my first two employees on Feb 1st. One of 'em will be an organizer/assistant/cleaner for an hour a day, the other will be my backup so I'll finally get a day or two off every week.

The return of NAVA starts on Saturday! I'm pretty excited about getting the gang back together.

    Updated NAVA page: http://www.digitpress.com/nava.htm

    Updated Store page: http://www.digitpress.com/store

That's it for now! Thanks again to those of you who have made the trip out to the store and to the new members who have joined the forums AFTER going to the store. Hope to see ya's all again at NAVA.

You have an amazing store, Joe! It was COMPLETELY worth the 16-hour round trip to visit and to poke through your wares. Congrats on an awesome layout, great selection, and - dare I say it - surprisingly low prices!

I kinda figured that the sales would be somewhere in that range.

When I first heard a game store opened up where the outer limits used to be, i was afraid it would suffer the same fate because of obnoxiously high prices. dp doesn't have that issue, and it's an awesome store. hope it lasts a long, long time.

I believe those were there from before Joe bought the store.
