Went to EB and the flea today and got these games:
PS1 - Pac-Man World
PS1 - X-Com: Terror form the Deep
SNES - Super Metroid (loose)
I had a rather impressively large score.. went to a gamestore in my city with a few things to trade I didn't want anymore, in the hope of picking up King's Bounty for MegaDrive... I did, and when the owner mentioned a discount for getting more stuff, I picked out Golden Axe 2 and Space Harrier 2 as well, which wiped out my credit.
I got talking to him for a while, however, and he mentioned a bunch of Japanese MegaDrive games he couldn't get rid of, and offered them to me "really cheap". Really cheap turned out to be $AUS2 a piece, and almost all of these are boxed:
Originals:
Hard Drivin' (boxed)
Ghostbusters (boxed)
Side Pocket (boxed, a little label damage)
Street Fighter 2 Plus Champion Edition (boxed, little label damage)
Gain Ground (boxed, no label at all)
Aladdin (boxed/complete, Asian version - English and Korean manuals)
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey "Let's Fuck The Public Domain For Dollars" Mouse (boxed)
The Super Shinobi (boxed)
Alien Storm (boxed)
something-or-other 2 (boxed, looks like an anime based game)
Rambo III (boxed)
Wrestle War (boxed)
Advanced Military Commander (boxed) - awesome war game, wish I could read Japanese!
DJ Boy (boxed, label damage)
After Burner 2 (boxed)
Super Thunderblade (boxed/complete)
Aero Blasters (boxed)
Shiten Myooh (boxed)
Fatal Blow (boxed)
Bare Knuckle (in a box, no inlay)
Super Hang On (in a box, no inlay)
Dick Tracy (boxed/complete)
and a bunch of pirates:
Golden Axe
Golden Axe 2
TMNT Hyperstone Heist
M1 Abrams Battle Tank
ESwat Cyber Police
Batman
Rolling Thunder 2
Shadow Dancer
World Cup Soccer
X-Men
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
So for about $AUS70, I'm up to my wang in
MegaDrive games.. and the guy gave me posters
for Jade Empire and Halo 2 as well. I hereby have
a new favorite video game store in Perth.
Edit: Looks like something-or-other 2 is Mystic Defender
Picked up today:
Atari 2600
Flash Gordon
Fast Eddie
Name this Game
Bump 'n' Jump
Commando Raid
Spitfire Attack
All for $15 (us) not great but good to see some different titles, been a while.
Aegis
"I hunger...."
I compiled Friday and Saturday into one post!
I went to EB last night and bought these:
Get on Da Mic (PS2, complete) - $11.69 (I've heard it sucks, but I'd rather play it than Karaoke Revolution because I know more songs on it)
Street Racing Syndicate (XB, new) - $10
Theme Park (PS1, jewel case, complete) - $2.69
Then, I hit the yard sales this morning:
PSone with Sony AV, gray boxy plug and blue memory card - $5 (I almost wept because I love these systems so much, and it's good to have a second one)
Resident Evil 2 (PS1, loose) - 50 cents (anybody got a case and manual for this?)
Official PlayStation Magazine 29 demo disc - 25 cents
PlayStation Demo Disc - 25 cents
loose R-Zone head display unit with Independence Day, Indy 500, Star Wars carts and manuals - $2
Insomnia DVD (complete) - $1
The last yard sale was the best find overall. For $5, I got the following 10 loose NES carts:
Alien Syndrome w/manual
Boulder Dash w/manual
Captain Skyhawk w/manual and clear case
Die Hard w/manual
Eggsplode/Short Order
NES Play Action Football
Super Pitfall w/manual
Tecmo Super Bowl w/manual
Track & Field II
Wrath of the Black Manta w/manual and clear case
It's funny because when I was looking at the game stuff at the last yard sale, I happened upon a yellowed SNES and a case to put it in. I heard a shrill voice yell, "That's already sold!" I turned around, and it was an MILF who had just bought it. I yelled, "Oops, my bad!" and turned my attention to the NES cartridges. As I was moving my stuff around in my trunk to take my finds home, she pulls up beside me and says, "I really wanted that Super Nintendo! It was 5 dollars." I smirked and said, "I don't care. I have 3 of them at home." She got POed and sped off...I probably should have gotten her number.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
Snes model 2 with 2 controllers and AC adapter - $2
2 SMB3 cartoon vhs tapes - .50 each
I'm thrilled over the snes2. I've had a box for one for over 2 years, and now I've finally found a system to go with it!
Curiosity killed the cat.... Satisfaction brought him back.
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone...
Exactly my thoughts :P Nice Score Steempy!Originally Posted by thegreatescape

Not much for me. Went to the dirt mall before it rained and didn't see much that I didn't already own. But I did find another Sonic happy meal toy (this one has Knuckles trying to catch an emerald) for 50c and another binder of Pokemon cards that had bunch of holofoils I needed for $10.
Stopped at a Yardsale while on the way to Walmart to pick up needed items and found:
Boxed Atari 2600 with games for $10. I didn't want to pay that much but it had a game with it i did not have yet, Squeeze Box. Also got the following games:
PAC-MAN
Astroids
Space Invaderers
Berzerk
Fire Fight
Donkey Kong
And the Rarest of all Combat.
Also got 2 SNES games for $.50 each
Killer Instinct
Super Mario All Stars
Walmart had their Gameboy Advanced marked down to $20.00 so I picked one up.
weird finds today:
Xbox Metal Slug 3 (like new, complete)- $8
3DO games (first time I've ever seen any!) all .50 each:
Madden Football (disc only)
Space Hulk (disc only)
Syndicate (disc only)
Starblade

Myst
Shockwave
Burning Soldier
Can anyone tell me if those non-disc only games are complete? I always thought that 3DO games had outer cardboard boxes.
Every game I got today was for a system I don't own. :/ Oh well, still pretty cool!
"First, we have aspirin. A common cure for things that aspirin cures. Leads to.....rabies."

Unfortuantly the port sucks but its no2 on my most wanted collected list sorted
Found a Sega Activator today at goodwill. It came in the box, but didnt have the styrofoam inserts, and its missing the AC adapter (a regular Gen2 AC adapter will work Ive heard). Manuals and all the other parts were there. Not great, but not bad either.
