NES Light Gun

I recently tried playing Duck Hunt, but my gun just was not working. IT had completely died, I get no response at all. Is it toast, or is there a way I can fix it? Any help is appreciated.

Is it pluged in? Are you sure?

Well, I don't really know anyway to fix a gun that is mot responding at all, sorry. I'm sure someone on the Roundtable will be able to help you find a way to fix it though, if there is a way to fix it. Good luck TEND. Duck Hunt Rocks!

Thank You very much! I'm positive it's plugged in though, I tried at it for a good 20 minutes, and nothing. I'll keep my eyes open for another one when I go thrifting this weekend.

I don't remember for sure, but doesn't the gun plug into player 2?

Tried that, tried having gun in 1, controller in 2, gun in 2 controller in 1, controller in 1, selecting the game than switching the gun into port 1. Nothing was working.

I'd suggest buying a new one. You can pretty much find them at any thrift or pawn I'm sure. They are usually priced under 5 bucks.
I don't think it would be worth the hassle to try to get it to work again.

Yeah, I ended up getting a new one today for $2. Works fine, so it must've just been my gun.
