Ok, so it's not a 10 Million model PlayStation. It's a brand new never opened 7501. I wonder if it really is new or not. I've seen people use hair dryers to lift the stickers up and then re-seal them to return defective units. This was back when the SN of the unit wasn't showing through the box.

Speaking of a 10 million model PS, there was one on ebay and I didn't see a link here. I think BuyAtari won it. (or was winning it)


*EDIT: I noticed that this seller above has some other new game systems like a 3DO, Nintendo Famicom, Panasonic Qube...etc. Some of it looks nice.

Ther've been 2 on ebay since August of 2004. BuyAtari got that one in Aug 04 for a pretty penny, I know, he sniped me with 1 second to go (i've still got the screen cap) and kevincure got the other one that showed up this last spring, however it didnt have the Parallel I/O door for it.

BuyAtari has done that to me as well when I stupidly thought I was the only bidder. I bid on the last day and didn't even think to bid more than the auction price because I thought it was already expensive and no one wanted it. Well, I learned my lesson.

After I bid the seller emailed me asking me what I thought it was worth. I told him about the boxed one I bought and what I paid. Next thing I know the auction ended. I asked him about it and he said he got a very good side offer. I then told him he most likely cut himself short.

How many 10 Million models do you own? When they say there was 100 made worldwide, does that mean 100 in the US, 100 in Japan and 100 in Europe? Or did they break the 100 up in different regions? (40 to US, 30 to Japan, 40 to Europe)

BTW, I don't know how much you paid for your boxed one, but kevincure sold his for $1500. I can't wait to see how much the next boxed one goes for.
