From the articles online, I had always thought that the airball proto had some kind of special hardware that made dumping very difficult. In fact, I remember someone saying that even dumped it wouldn't work without some extra hardware. Then I saw this picture at nintendoage:

    http://www.nintendoage.com/index.cfm...ame&Game_ID=60

If the board picture here is correct and I'm reading the chips right, I think anyone with a copynes could dump this without too much trouble. It also looks reproducible.

It would be really weird if this was NGD because this is the guy who bought NGD's dragon wars repro (see his recent feedback).

Do we know where both of the pictured protos are? There seem to be two different ones.

I think someone said that they each have different levels of completion, so I agree that that should solve the mystery if a person on here buys it and checks to what extent the game is playable.
I'm always looking for new boxed NES accessories. If you've got any for sale, shoot me a PM!

The first pic is dreamtr's copy I believe. The other is Muresan's I think. I always thought port's didn't have a label even though I might be getting the two mixed up. TRE has already said this isn't port's for sure. I'll ask NGD though.

Dain has a copy? Since when was this? I even work with him over at Nintendoage and knew nothing about that.

I don't think Muresan sold his, he's never sold anything.

Like I told you in AIM DreamTR, this is not my auction.

Here is what happened with Dragon Wars. Me and 4 other people pulled money and bought it together. We were prepared to spend much more than we did, but got lucky that it stayed cheap. We had it dumped and we all got a repro made for our collections. That is why it got done so quickly. The day I got it from you I put it in the mail that day to get dumped/repro. The person who dumped it was one of the people how help but it also.

But I always heard that Airball was un-dumpable, but seems that isn't the cause. Either way this is not me, I promise.

nationalgamesdepot: I was not accusing you, read my post, I was merely speculating. Heck, I could have put myself on there, but I know I did not get it dumped.

Has anyone gotten a response from the seller? I haven't yet and it's been a few days.

Who owned Port's copy before him? The seller says he had a copy of the game 4 1/2 years ago and had a repro made. I know it wasn't from my copy because I know who the previous owners are and they wouldn't of had it dumped.

    Game sold for $81.

VGC owned one copy and sold his on ebay. Not sure who owned it before him but he bought it cheap so I doub't the seller dumped it and I know Mike didn't dump it while it was in his possesion.
