OMG... that boss fight was amazing! Treasure is definately going to push the GBA's hardware capabilities to the limit with this game. It looks very solid. I'm sure that this game will be great. Even if it doesn't surpass the origional Gunstar Heroes, it won't be far behind.
Looks cool, hopefully they'll beable to play the GBA games on the rev, download, or an attachment, I got no use for portables, but I'd like to play that game
anyone got a quarter?

Very cool old-school fun!!

wow! kickass! meseta for you.
In a land beyond sight...
It looks freaking awesome, that's for sure. Can't wait! Though more importantly, why the hell did I have to watch a video of a guy photocoping his ass before I could download the video?
"First, we have aspirin. A common cure for things that aspirin cures. Leads to.....rabies."
I dunno... but I'm guessing it's the same reason G4TV wants us to watch 2 shows about Drift Racing on a network developed completely to videogames.
With Gunstar Super Heroes, Metal Slug 1 and MegaMan Zero 4... it looks to be a pretty good year for action platformers on the GBA.
it looks amazing, especialy the boss fight! It looks as though it is running on the DS, and the frame rate is nice and high to keep up with the action. Heres hoping it launches close with the gameboy micro and has an affordable retail price
Treasure proves to rule contintually. The graphics just look luscious, and not bad on the sound design either. Just one little remark: Is it just me, or do the weapons have limited ammo? It will certainly add a new level of strategy, but it'll just feel a bit weird, what with me being so accustomed to the original GH where ammunition is boundless.
Still looks freaking great, though. If that was an example of a boss fight, then I wonder what other enemies there are?
That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

Has a port of Metal Slug 1 been announced? I'd be all over that. You've pretty much mentioned my future GBA purchases right there.Originally Posted by spooie

Metal Slug 1 is a port of the arcade original and should be coming this autum.
That is correct. GBA is still going strog with what I call the triple action godliness of, Gunstar Super Heroes, Metal Slug, and Mega Man Zero 4. Let's just hope SNK doesn't delay the Metal Slug port for a year and a half like that did with metal Slug AdvanceOriginally Posted by Zubiac666
I believe Gamespot has a small clip of the Metal Slug port, if anyone is interested.
Another action platformer that looks like it might be semi-decent on the GBA is Screw Breaker, from Nintendo. But not a whole lot is known for my to judge by yet. As far as I can tell, you ride around in a little mech suit with a big drill attacking things and digging through tunnels. So... I'm sure it will have a deep plot to it.
Get it... a deep plot? Because you're drilling and stuff?
I'll go wait in the corner. :/
