This sounds like too much work to me.
I keep Excel list for the game systems I expect to find in the wild, but I don't keep the Rarity up to date. I have better things to do with my time. Like LOOK FOR MORE GAMES!

I will say that I have six 4s, five 7s, one 8 and one nine, however.
Still have QUITE a few systems to enter into the site, but I've never been able to figure out how to get a list of all of the games in my collection to show up honestly.Originally Posted by robotriot

I'll have to put in all my nes, snes, genesis, etcc games sometime Is there any way to export these lists to anywhere? Hate to put all that time in checking boxes and not be able to look at it offline somewhere.

I have over 1200 games in my collection, and it was a bit of a pain to count how many of each rarity I have in it, but it didn't take very long to do it, and it killed a little bit of time.Originally Posted by testament89
If you've already entered all the games you own into your collection list here, then all you have to do is sort them all by rarity and start counting them. So I simply used my list.
Now people like Joe I can understand not wanting to count all of their games just for this, since he has 10's of 1000's of games in his collection, and I can understand people like DJ wanting someone else to do it for them, because he has mostly 1000's of imports as far as I know, so he might as well just say that he rules 0 rarity here and leave it at that.
As for everyone else, hopefully at least a few more of the other big fish around here will take the time to participate in this before this topic withers and dies, because I think it's one of the coolest new topics that I've seen here in a while. It was fun to see my results after all that counting!

damn...i suck!
Well, I think I'm up around 2,500 or so games now, and the problem isn't counting out the rarities once someone told me how to do it, but putting all those games INTO the DP database. It's not HARD or anything, but I'd rather play a game for a few hours than go through the other 1,500 games that I haven't put into the system yetOriginally Posted by Iron Draggon
I'm sure I'll get around to it sometime and bump this thread somewhere down the road with an update including all my games including NES and forward.

Agreed completely. We've got big plans for future enhancements to teh database. All we need now is time!Originally Posted by Mr. Smashy
That kept happening to me yesterday. You can still search for stuff and see your collection checkmarks (albeit greyed out, but still there), or you can get to your list through your profile. I have always logged in checked, so I don't know why it's happening through that page either.Originally Posted by buttasuperb

Well I don't know how you have all of your games stored, but mine are all in boxes, and I was very surprised at how quickly I finished entering all mine into the database, but then 2500 games is over twice as many as I have, so I can certainly understand it taking alot of time just to do that!Originally Posted by Sylentwulf
