Back in November or so of last year, Target had a $14.77 sale and their ad said "ALL" GH-type games for GC, XBox and PS2. I got to the store and they had Super Smash Bros Melee (Player's Choice package) but they had it marked as $29.99 in the case.
I called over the lady working at the counter to get the game out for me and scan it, and it came up $29.99 and so I requested the manager. He came over, scanned it and told me it was $29.99. I showed him thier own copy of the ad (the one they keep at their register at all times) and he took a minute or so of looking back and forth between the game and the ad before telling me I was right. So then he suddenly wanders off without telling the cashier that I get it for the sale price. I had wandered away myself a short distance to look at other games, turned around and he was gone.
After about 10-20 minutes of pussy footing around off god knows where (hoping I'd give up waiting?) the manager came back gave it to me for $14.77.
It's not like I wanted to buy all they had.
Plus I was buying 3 others they had on sale that were coming up correctly as being on sale. They just hated they had they to sell a game for below half price.
